Base Salary
$135k - $170k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own internal automation platforms end-to-end, including architecture, data models, synchronization and scheduling, technical direction, and roadmap.
- Design and ship full-stack features including backend services, frontend UI, RBAC, approval workflows, dashboards, and systems of record.
- Build and maintain integrations with enterprise SaaS tools, cloud infrastructure, and internal directory and identity services.
- Automate SG&A workflows such as onboarding, offboarding, approval routing, audit logging, and access reviews in partnership with IT, HR, and Finance stakeholders.
- Develop SSO/OAuth2 integrations, group provisioning, and RBAC models that satisfy audit requirements.
- Evolve database schemas, maintain automated test coverage, and enforce engineering standards as the codebase grows.
- Use AI coding platforms for scaffolding, testing, and delivery, while personally building a meaningful share of the systems.
Requirements
- BS or MS in Computer Science.
- 7+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Production ownership of a web application spanning Python backend development, FastAPI or similar frameworks, relational database design, PostgreSQL, SQL, schema migrations, and frontend development.
- Experience integrating enterprise SaaS APIs such as Atlassian, Microsoft 365, GitHub, or Bitbucket, plus cloud infrastructure APIs.
- Working knowledge of RBAC, SSO/OAuth2, and directory-service group provisioning using LDAP or an equivalent.
- Experience designing systems of record or inventory and asset-tracking tools with dashboards for different audiences.
- Exposure to licensing, entitlement, or lifecycle-tracking systems is preferred.
- Fluency with Claude Code, Cursor, and GitHub Copilot as part of a daily development workflow.
- Ability to scope and automate cross-functional processes with non-technical IT, HR, and Finance stakeholders.
- Track record as a hands-on technical lead who owns architecture decisions and directly builds substantial portions of systems.
