Responsibilities
- Deliver cyber-AI solutions as part of a team of AI engineers, AI operators, and cybersecurity subject matter experts.
- Design, implement, deploy, maintain, and evolve AI-enhanced cybersecurity solutions for intrusion detection and prevention, incident response, insider risk, vulnerability analysis, threat hunting, cyber threat intelligence, and security testing.
- Instrument AI systems with observability and controllability, monitor their performance, and ensure their effectiveness.
- Analyze, fine-tune, and optimize AI systems supporting cybersecurity missions.
- Develop analytic products, metrics, and technical reports demonstrating the effectiveness of AI-enabled cybersecurity capabilities.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in AI, data science, or software engineering, including knowledge of AI-supporting data structures and cybersecurity practices.
- At least 5 years of experience in security, information security, or cybersecurity focused on defending technical systems.
- Proficiency with AI infrastructure components, automation tools, and scripting languages such as Python and Bash.
- Familiarity with AI frameworks and tools such as AWS Bedrock, SageMaker, Transformer, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and LangChain or LlamaIndex.
- Familiarity with open-source LLMs such as Llama and Mistral, plus experience fine-tuning LLM models.
- Knowledge of AI design patterns.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or related work experience.
- Preferred experience with DevSecOps, CI/CD, AWS cloud architecture, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, GitLab, and government environments following NIST, FISMA, FedRAMP, and OMB guidance.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, documentation, collaboration, and change-leadership skills.
