Base Salary

$110k - $135k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Build and administer continuous integration pipelines, build plans, software configurations, and automated AWS resource deployments.
  • Plan and implement cloud environments and ensure end-to-end deployments succeed.
  • Troubleshoot server and application errors caused by environmental issues and resolve production outages through root-cause analysis.
  • Monitor production environments and take action to maintain system stability and availability.
  • Lead off-hours production migrations and provide off-hours support for mission-critical applications.
  • Mentor and guide junior colleagues and help them become more knowledgeable and independent.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Three years of experience with Linux Administration, Windows Administration, and IIS Management, including deep knowledge of IIS concepts and settings.
  • Three years of experience with AWS services and tools including EC2, S3, CloudFormation, CLI, Lambda, SQS, and DynamoDB.
  • Deep knowledge of multiple monitoring tools and the ability to analyze their data.
  • Proficiency with Bash, Chef, PowerShell, Python, XML, REST APIs, SPA concepts, and HTTP GET and POST.
  • Mastery of firewall concepts, network connectivity, XML configuration files, REST API calls, and HTTP headers and response codes.
  • Deep experience with continuous integration and deployment technologies including Atlassian Bamboo, Octopus Deploy, MSBuild, NUnit, Git, Maven, and Docker.
  • Passion for technology and a focus on automation.
