Responsibilities
- Operate and extend production Azure environments, including landing zones, subscriptions, resource groups, governance, networking, compute, and Kubernetes.
- Implement Azure Policy and Management Groups as code and remediate compliance drift.
- Configure and operate Entra ID, including identity translation for workloads migrating from on-premises or AWS.
- Operate AKS, private endpoints, DNS, and the production compute and networking fabric while diagnosing faults.
- Manage cloud security posture, including Wiz findings, vulnerability remediation, threat detection, and privileged access through PIM.
- Own Terraform modules, state management, and infrastructure deployment pipelines.
- Participate in on-call rotations, conduct root cause analysis, and automate recurring fixes.
Requirements
- Minimum six years of related experience.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
- Production experience deploying and operating Azure landing zones, Azure Policy, AKS, Entra ID, and hybrid or cross-cloud workload migrations.
- Knowledge of Azure Management Groups, subscriptions, ARM hierarchy, Cloud Adoption Framework, VNets, ExpressRoute, Private Link, Azure DNS, Virtual WAN, NSG/ASG, firewalls, NAT, and VPN.
- Fluency with Terraform, including modules, state management, and CI/CD pipeline integration.
- Experience with GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps infrastructure-as-code pipelines.
- Strong knowledge of Python or Go plus PowerShell, YAML, and JSON scripting.
- Experience with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights, Datadog, PagerDuty, or OpsGenie, including KQL fluency.
- Experience managing cloud security posture, vulnerability remediation, and threat detection in production.
- AWS experience, regulated or financial-services experience, and certifications such as Certified DevSecOps Professional, CISSP, or Certified Ethical Hacker are preferred.
