Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available AWS cloud infrastructure.
- Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
- Build, optimize, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for reliable software delivery.
- Implement observability through monitoring, logging, and alerting.
- Troubleshoot production issues and lead root cause analysis and resolution.
- Improve system performance, reliability, developer productivity, and operational consistency.
- Optimize cloud usage, cost efficiency, and governance.
- Develop automation to reduce manual effort.
- Contribute to shared platform engineering across global DevOps teams.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience in DevOps or cloud engineering roles in a product-based environment.
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS and Kubernetes in production.
- Proven Infrastructure as Code expertise, preferably with Terraform.
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions or Jenkins.
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as New Relic, Prometheus, or the ELK stack.
- Strong troubleshooting skills across infrastructure, networking, and application layers.
- Proficiency in Python, Bash, or a similar scripting or programming language.
- Experience collaborating in Agile, cross-functional, distributed, and large-scale multi-product environments.
- Understanding of cloud security, networking, system design, release management, and deployment strategies.
- AWS certifications such as Solutions Architect or DevOps Engineer are noted as qualifications.
- Experience with Ansible or Puppet configuration management.
- Familiarity with PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, Docker, microservices architectures, and cloud cost optimization.
