Responsibilities
- Build software products for B2B commerce in hospitality, starting with hotels.
- Develop responsive frontend experiences and server-side functionality across the full stack.
- Architect and implement solutions for complex data-intensive systems.
- Build software supporting money movement and the digitization of paper-based processes.
- Collaborate in an early-stage, product-focused environment and make tradeoffs between customer and business needs.
Requirements
- 8+ years of hands-on experience as a senior contributor on teams that have shipped successful products.
- Full-stack experience with Ruby on Rails, Hotwire, TypeScript, React, Node.js, and PostgreSQL.
- Strong experience building responsive, intuitive user interfaces and transitioning between frontend and backend work.
- Solid object-oriented design and programming skills, including architecture for complex data-intensive systems.
- Experience building software that enables money movement and digitizes historically paper-based processes.
- Ability to prioritize, manage time, make tradeoffs, adapt to changing information, and work across multiple responsibilities.
- Experience contributing to open-source software projects or other pro-bono development work is valued.
