Base Salary
$75k - $112k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop and review NGEC application-layer embedded software.
- Develop and review NGEC software architecture focused on reusability and abstraction.
- Support Software-in-the-Loop development, plant models, and payload delivery.
- Support internal vehicle partners in implementing SiL in test and development environments.
- Write and test code for product functionality as part of an agile product team.
- Support strategic projects affecting software development or delivery.
Requirements
- Experience with simulation and test tools such as Simulink Test.
- Programming experience in languages such as Python, JavaScript, Java, C, C++, C#, or VBA.
- Demonstrated problem-solving ability relevant to complex systems and ability to identify innovative solutions.
- Excellent technical writing and verbal communication skills.
- A bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, agricultural engineering, or a related field, or equivalent related work experience.
- Preferred qualifications include embedded software or heavy-duty off-highway product development experience, model-based development with MATLAB Simulink, engine or aftertreatment control experience, automotive diagnostic/communication/calibration protocols, SiL/HiL/MiL environments, and knowledge of electronic circuits, schematics, and data sheets.
