Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain the cloud networking foundation for Neo4j Aura.
- Collaborate with teams across Neo4j’s cloud organization to deliver the global cloud networking roadmap.
- Address engineering challenges affecting platform performance, reliability, scalability, and future load.
- Build and operate software in Kubernetes-based, multi-cloud environments.
- Support software and services operating in a 24/7/365 SaaS environment.
Requirements
- Advanced knowledge of Google Cloud, AWS, and/or Azure.
- Good working knowledge of Go.
- Experience building and operating software on Kubernetes.
- Understanding of cloud networking and Kubernetes networking fundamentals.
- Solid understanding of DNS, TLS, mTLS, SNI, and L4/L7 proxies, including Envoy.
- Experience with build and deployment pipelines using continuous delivery.
- Experience working in an Agile software development team environment.
- Experience operating software in a 24/7/365 SaaS environment.
- Preferred experience with multi-tenancy environments, GCP Private Service Connect, AWS PrivateLink, Azure PrivateLink, Kubernetes operators, Kubernetes internal networking, Kubernetes network security, and high-availability architecture.
