Responsibilities
- Investigate production incidents, troubleshoot application and database issues, resolve data pipeline failures, and identify performance bottlenecks through root-cause analysis.
- Collaborate with development, QA, database, data, and infrastructure teams to improve service reliability.
- Automate operational tasks using programming and scripting skills.
- Support logging, monitoring, observability, AI service traceability, and dependency monitoring.
- Troubleshoot AI dependencies such as model availability, token consumption, API quotas, rate limits, and latency.
- Follow provisioning and recovery runbooks and troubleshoot environment configuration issues.
- Support certificate renewals, certificate expiry monitoring, secrets management, incident triage, and change and configuration management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 1–2 years of combined experience in Site Reliability Engineering, Application Production Support, DevOps, or Systems Engineering.
- Knowledge of Linux/Unix internals, including filesystems, process management, networking, permissions, system services, and resource utilization.
- Knowledge of Java and Python, including reading code, debugging applications, and writing automation scripts.
- Database debugging and querying experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, Oracle DB, and MySQL, plus familiarity with NoSQL databases, Snowflake, ETL, and data pipelines.
- Familiarity with Splunk, Grafana, Prometheus, Dynatrace, and AI traceability tools such as Langfuse and LangSmith.
- Understanding of incident triage, production issue resolution, root-cause analysis, and change and configuration management.
- Basic understanding of CI/CD and continuous deployment tools such as Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
- Familiarity with GenAI solutions, AI models, AI-assisted workflows, alerting, latency objectives, and staging or experimental environments.
- Preferred: hands-on Docker experience and foundational Kubernetes knowledge.
- Preferred: familiarity with AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Preferred: knowledge of security operations, certificate lifecycle practices, secure configuration management, and SIEM tools.
- Preferred: ability to use AI/GenAI tools for log analysis, script generation, and issue investigation.
- Preferred: awareness of Ansible and Terraform.
