Responsibilities
- Contribute to the daily operations of the Microsoft Azure-hosted platform.
- Help manage and improve infrastructure deployment pipelines and automation tasks.
- Monitor platform performance and availability using Azure Monitor and Log Analytics.
- Participate in incident response, troubleshooting, change management, and post-incident activities.
- Help schedule and optimize batch jobs using enterprise schedulers.
- Support the integration and configuration of third-party tools and services.
- Apply SRE and ITIL practices, including service ownership and post-incident reviews.
- Collaborate in Agile ceremonies and sprint-based delivery.
- Maintain and improve runbooks, operational guides, and other documentation.
- Participate in structured onboarding and mentoring to develop SRE skills.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
- Practical exposure to cloud, DevOps, or infrastructure topics through coursework, internships, or side projects.
- Interest in Microsoft Azure, automation, and cloud operations.
- Familiarity with scripting such as PowerShell or Bash and version control with Git.
- Awareness of monitoring, basic networking, or incident response is preferred.
- Proactive, collaborative approach with strong communication skills and eagerness to learn.
