Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain software components using C, C++, and Python.
- Contribute to cloud platform components for edge and distributed computing environments.
- Support integration, validation, testing, and automation of cloud infrastructure solutions.
- Troubleshoot software issues through debugging, root cause analysis, and automated testing.
- Collaborate with global engineering teams and participate in code reviews.
- Document technical solutions, designs, and implementation details.
- Contribute to open-source and cloud-native technologies, including StarlingX.
- Apply practices supporting scalability, reliability, and software quality.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Strong programming skills in C and C++, with experience using Python for scripting and automation.
- Understanding of object-oriented programming, software development methodologies, debugging techniques, and software development fundamentals.
- Understanding of Linux-based development environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an interest in cloud infrastructure and distributed systems.
- Ability to work effectively in collaborative, cross-functional engineering teams and communicate technical information clearly.
- Preferred exposure to Kubernetes, Docker, OpenStack, StarlingX, CI/CD, distributed systems, edge computing, telecommunications/5G, or open-source development.
