Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain software modules using C, C++, and Python.
- Develop and test cloud platform components for edge and distributed computing environments.
- Support integration, validation, and automation of cloud infrastructure solutions.
- Contribute to test automation, debugging, root cause analysis, and software quality.
- Participate in code reviews, documentation, collaborative engineering work, and open-source projects including StarlingX.
- Apply practices related to scalability, reliability, and cloud software development.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, electrical engineering, computer engineering, or a related discipline.
- Strong programming skills in C and C++ and experience with Python scripting.
- Understanding of object-oriented programming, software development methodologies, debugging techniques, and Linux-based development environments.
- Preferred knowledge or experience includes Kubernetes, Docker, OpenStack, StarlingX, distributed systems, test automation frameworks, edge computing, telecommunications or 5G, and open-source software development.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, troubleshooting, and learning skills.
