Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain software modules using C, C++, and Python.
- Develop and test cloud platform components for edge and distributed computing environments.
- Support the integration, validation, and automation of cloud infrastructure solutions.
- Contribute to software quality through test automation, debugging, and root cause analysis.
- Collaborate with global engineering teams, participate in code reviews, and document technical solutions.
- Contribute to open-source projects, including StarlingX and cloud-native infrastructure technologies.
- Apply practices related to scalability, reliability, and cloud software development.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, electrical engineering, computer engineering, or a related discipline.
- Strong programming skills in C and C++.
- Experience with Python scripting, object-oriented programming, Linux-based development environments, software development methodologies, and debugging techniques.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and willingness to learn new technologies.
- Preferred experience or knowledge includes Kubernetes, Docker, OpenStack, StarlingX, distributed systems, test automation frameworks, edge computing, telecommunications or 5G, and open-source software development.
