Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design and deliver responsive, high-performance, WCAG-compliant front-end UI architecture for micro-frontends.
- Develop high-quality front-end modules, components, and interfaces for eCommerce products.
- Apply modern software engineering practices, API design, and architecture to integrate with Ford products and external cloud services.
- Use AI coding assistants such as Ford LLM and GitHub Copilot, including prompt design and guard-railing.
- Implement UI features from Figma design specifications.
- Analyze and improve application performance using Lighthouse, Dynatrace, and monitoring tools.
- Collaborate with architects, product managers, designers, backend engineers, cloud, security, SRE, and DevOps experts.
- Test and debug UI issues across browsers and devices and troubleshoot production issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline.
- At least 4 years of professional software engineering experience developing and delivering modern web applications.
- Strong hands-on expertise with React, Next.js, or comparable front-end frameworks.
- Strong understanding of web accessibility standards and experience building accessible, user-centered interfaces.
- Preferred experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, DOM manipulation, browser APIs, micro-frontend architectures, SSR, CSR, SSG, HTML5, CSS3, Tailwind CSS, BEM, SMACSS, Redux, Zustand, Flux, Node.js, NPM, Yarn, Webpack, Babel, Jest, Playwright, Core Web Vitals, SEO, OWASP Top 10, XSS, CSRF, CSP, OAuth 2.0, JWT, secure coding, and design systems.
