Responsibilities
- Train and fine-tune detection models on mission-specific datasets.
- Implement and improve multi-object tracking pipelines.
- Evaluate model performance by analyzing metrics and diagnosing failure modes.
- Manage the data pipeline end-to-end, including data assessment and annotation.
- Optimize models for deployment on SWaP-constrained and embedded platforms.
- Collaborate with systems engineers to integrate models into the Altra platform.
- Work across sensor modalities, including electro-optical and infrared.
Requirements
- Have 5+ years of experience in applied machine learning or computer vision.
- Hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field; Master's or PhD preferred.
- Possess production experience training and deploying object detection models.
- Be proficient in Python and PyTorch or a comparable deep learning framework.
- Have strong intuition for data quality and model performance.
- Experience with the full model training lifecycle, including data curation and deployment.
- Understand multi-object tracking and have implemented tracking algorithms.
- Be a U.S. citizen with an active security clearance or the ability to obtain one.
