Responsibilities
- Engineer complex, multi-tiered distributed software systems.
- Design, implement, test, document, and diagram software solutions for technical and business requirements.
- Make code changes to enhance products, add features, resolve programming errors, and develop new products.
- Complete code changes according to project plans and keep current with software development best practices.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of Java development experience.
- At least 5 years of web frontend development experience.
- At least 5 years of experience building large websites with HTML and CSS.
- Hands-on experience designing and developing applications using Java EE platforms.
- Experience with object-oriented analysis and design, common design patterns, REST API development, Java and Java EE internals, relational databases, SQL, JPA, Hibernate, and Spring MVC.
- Experience with React.js and related technologies such as Redux and React Router.
- Experience with responsive web design, Git-based version control, Agile methodology, web frameworks such as JSF, Wicket, GWT, or Spring MVC, and test-driven development.
- Experience with frontend unit testing and Power Mockito.
- Preferred qualifications include understanding of web usability and accessibility standards, familiarity with Ant build processes, troubleshooting ability, multitasking ability, and strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
