$272k - $302k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain Workday integrations, applications, and workflow automations for payroll, benefits, recruiting, performance, and case management.
- Improve the reliability, quality, scalability, observability, security, supportability, and maintainability of People systems.
- Connect Workday with internal platforms, external vendors, and AI-powered tooling.
- Help design agentic internal workflows combining HR data, automation, orchestration, and intelligent tooling.
- Use Git-based development, code review, structured change management, CLI tools, testing, troubleshooting, and production support practices.
- Partner with People, Finance, Security, and Engineering stakeholders to translate business needs into durable technical solutions.
Requirements
- 5–10 years of experience in Workday engineering, integrations, platform automation, or adjacent systems engineering roles.
- Hands-on experience with Workday EIB, Studio, Cloud Connect, Extend, reporting, calculated fields, security, and business process design.
- Experience building technical solutions beyond administration or configuration, including automation, scripting, debugging, and systems design.
- Comfort working in Git-based environments with modern software development practices and CLI-driven developer workflows.
- Experience designing and supporting reliable, secure, production integrations with strong data quality.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to address ambiguous technical and operational challenges.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical partners.
- Interest in agentic systems, AI-enabled internal tooling, or LLM-powered workflow design.
- Preferred experience integrating Workday with finance systems, identity systems, recruiting tools, case management platforms, or internal developer platforms.
- Preferred experience with observability, alerting, production support, internal tools, automation frameworks, and secure systems design for sensitive employee data.
