Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain Workday integrations and workflow automations.
- Improve reliability and scalability of People systems through engineering practices.
- Connect Workday with internal platforms and external vendors.
- Help design systems that combine HR data and intelligent tooling.
- Utilize Git-based development practices for safe delivery.
- Employ CLI-based tools for efficient system support.
- Translate business needs into durable technical solutions.
- Establish standards for observability and security across People systems.
Requirements
- 5-10 years of experience in Workday engineering or adjacent systems engineering roles.
- Strong hands-on experience with Workday technologies like EIB, Studio, and reporting.
- Proven ability to build technical solutions beyond configuration.
- Comfortable working in Git-based environments.
- Strong fluency with CLI-based workflows and developer tools.
- Experience with production integrations emphasizing reliability and data quality.
- Strong problem-solving skills for ambiguous technical challenges.
- Ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical partners.
