Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain operational components for ArcGIS Image Server and ArcGIS Raster Analytics Server as containerized microservices.
- Build and maintain frameworks and SDKs for API integration.
- Apply industry-standard design patterns and modern development practices.
- Partner with development teams to enhance workflows for cloud-native applications.
- Collaborate with product engineers to resolve software defects and performance issues.
- Contribute to agile development, delivering high-quality software through effective collaboration.
Requirements
- 2+ years of professional experience as a backend systems engineer in cloud-native software.
- Strong proficiency in modern C++ programming practices.
- Experience with cloud platforms like Microsoft Azure or AWS.
- Hands-on experience with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Solid understanding of web technologies including REST APIs and cloud-native architectures.
- Strong problem-solving, design, development, and debugging skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, thriving in a fast-paced Agile environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related field.
