Base Salary
$70k - $123k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain operational components across public, private, and multi-region cloud environments.
- Create tools and processes that automate infrastructure management and improve operational workflows.
- Configure and deploy containerized microservice workloads using Docker and Kubernetes, including EKS.
- Collaborate with DevOps and development teams to maintain production applications and infrastructure and improve build, test, and deployment workflows.
- Build and maintain monitoring, alerting, and operational trending tools.
- Perform deployment, patching, general administration, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
- Provide rotational 24/7 on-call technical support.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of relevant experience focused on infrastructure management and automation.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, UNIX/Linux environments, configuration management systems such as Puppet or Chef, and infrastructure provisioning tools such as CloudFormation or Terraform.
- Ability to write infrastructure scripts in Python or PowerShell and automate self-service workflows.
- Strong understanding of build and automation systems such as Jenkins and GitHub Actions, plus strong knowledge and experience with Git.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related STEM field.
- Preferred experience with Prometheus, Grafana, Jenkins pipelines and libraries, Docker, Kubernetes, mission-critical distributed systems, and cloud provisioning tools.
- Understanding of cloud and web security, documentation, mentorship, and self-service developer experience is preferred.
