Base Salary
$101k - $167k/yr
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with SRE and DevOps teams to operate SaaS capabilities across multiple cloud providers.
- Improve workflows for building, testing, and deploying applications.
- Maintain CI/CD pipelines across development, QA, and production environments.
- Configure and deploy containerized microservice components.
- Design, document, implement, and maintain operational application components.
- Use automation, monitoring, and infrastructure-as-code to operate cloud applications.
- Develop and maintain data pipelines that provide operational insights into deployed services and cloud applications.
- Share best practices and knowledge to improve deployment quality and velocity.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience coding, problem-solving, and debugging software.
- Ability to write code in Go, Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
- Experience with configuration management tools such as Puppet, Chef, or PowerShell DSC.
- Understanding of version control concepts and build systems.
- Experience with continuous integration and deployment tools such as Jenkins.
- Hands-on experience provisioning cloud infrastructure through APIs and tools including Terraform, CloudFormation, and ARM.
- Knowledge of public cloud services including AWS IAM, EC2, EKS, ELB, ALB, CloudFront, Autoscaling, networking, or AKS.
- Strong experience with containers including Docker, Kubernetes, and ECS.
- Familiarity with Redis, Elasticsearch, DynamoDB, or Redshift.
- Understanding of web technologies, HTTP, networking, security, scaling, and cloud-native architecture.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related technology field.
- Preferred qualifications include Agile software development experience, familiarity with Prometheus, Grafana, Terraform, and CloudFormation, working knowledge of Git, and public cloud certification, preferably AWS.
