Base Salary
$97k - $162k/yr
Responsibilities
- Engineer and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure Pipelines, or similar tools.
- Build developer tooling, build environments, artifact infrastructure, and secure software delivery platforms.
- Develop Python and JavaScript automation and operational workflows.
- Automate infrastructure and cloud environments using Terraform, Ansible, AWS CDK, or similar infrastructure-as-code frameworks.
- Write and optimize Dockerfiles and support container-based and Kubernetes-based deployments.
- Integrate SBOM generation, vulnerability scanning, SAST/DAST, container scanning, artifact signing, and other secure build practices.
- Support release engineering and deployment strategies such as blue/green and canary deployments.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of professional DevOps, CI/CD, or platform automation experience.
- Hands-on experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and YAML-based pipeline or infrastructure definitions.
- Experience with automation and scripting; Python and/or JavaScript preferred.
- Experience with Ansible, AWS CDK, Terraform, or similar infrastructure automation tools.
- Experience writing and optimizing Dockerfiles and supporting container-based deployments.
- Understanding of artifact management, dependency management, secure build practices, SBOM tools, and artifact signing concepts.
- Exposure to AWS and/or Azure, including compute and storage services such as S3 and Blob Storage.
- U.S. citizenship and an active or current-within-two-years Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, DevOps, Geographic Information Systems, or a related STEM field.
- Preferred qualifications include a relevant master’s degree, backend and operational workflow automation, release engineering, Kubernetes, DevSecOps, security scanning, Agile or Scrum experience, and CompTIA Security+ certification.
