Base Salary
$80k - $133k/yr
Responsibilities
- Plan, design, test, and release ArcGIS Online platform components across AWS, Azure, and VMware infrastructure
- Contribute to implementation design, backend API quality assurance, and cloud-based software update processes
- Design, test, and validate security features
- Perform manual and automated functional and workflow-driven testing for product quality and release readiness
- Troubleshoot, investigate, and triage customer-reported issues
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and integrate solutions
- Create and share help documentation, blog posts, tutorials, conference presentations, and sample workflows
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience with GIS technologies and software testing or software development in an engineering environment
- Experience creating and executing test plans and UI or web service test automation
- Hands-on experience deploying and managing applications in AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, or similar cloud environments
- Understanding of REST APIs and web services
- Experience automating workflows through scripting
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, GIS, geography, or a related field
- Master’s degree in a relevant field is preferred
- Experience with AWS CloudFormation, Azure Resource Manager, or Helm charts is preferred
- Understanding of cloud-native architecture and design principles is preferred
- Knowledge of SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, or DB2 is preferred
- Experience with Selenium, JMeter, or ReadyAPI is preferred
- Experience building and delivering software products is preferred
- Experience with Java, Python, or other scripting languages is preferred
