Responsibilities
- Develop production-ready Python applications, backend services, and scalable APIs.
- Build data-based chatbots using LLMs, Retrieval-Augmented Generation, and structured and unstructured data.
- Implement prompt engineering, fine-tuning, model evaluation, response-quality analysis, and performance optimization workflows.
- Process and preprocess data, including cleaning, transformation, chunking, embedding generation, and preparation for AI/ML workflows.
- Design FastAPI services that interact with databases, vector stores, external APIs, and other data sources.
- Write unit, integration, and API tests using Pytest or similar Python testing frameworks.
- Deploy Python applications, APIs, and AI/ML services on cloud or server environments.
- Integrate multiple data sources into unified chatbot or AI-driven systems and collaborate with frontend developers on API integration.
Requirements
- 4-8 years of experience.
- Strong hands-on Python development experience, including data-driven applications, debugging, testing, deployment, and scalable code design.
- Experience developing LLM-based chatbots, RAG pipelines, prompt engineering, fine-tuning, model evaluation, and response-quality analysis.
- Experience with Pandas, NumPy, data processing, and data preprocessing.
- Hands-on experience with FastAPI and scalable API development and testing.
- Experience writing unit, integration, and API tests using Pytest or similar frameworks.
- Experience deploying Python applications, APIs, and AI/ML services.
- Preferred experience with LLM evaluation frameworks, test datasets, automated evaluation pipelines, and quality benchmarking.
- Preferred exposure to frontend technologies, microservices-based architecture, vector databases, Docker, cloud deployment, SQL/NoSQL databases, LangChain/LangGraph, and OpenAI/Hugging Face APIs.
- Ability to debug and optimize applications for performance, reliability, and scalability and work independently on AI/ML, data, and backend engineering tasks.
