Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement enterprise-grade full-stack applications using Python and React.
- Build and deploy AI/ML-enabled solutions on GCP for metadata management, data controls, data quality, and risk detection.
- Develop scalable microservices, APIs, and event-driven services using Python frameworks and cloud-native GCP services.
- Create responsive frontend applications using React, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
- Collaborate with Data Engineers, Data Scientists, Business Analysts, and cross-functional teams on end-to-end solutions.
- Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives, and other team ceremonies.
- Perform code reviews, unit and integration testing, documentation, and secure development practices.
- Support regulatory, risk management, and enterprise data governance objectives including BCBS 239 and Internal Risk Rating.
Requirements
- Extensive enterprise full-stack software development experience with strong hands-on Python and React expertise.
- Strong proficiency with Flask, FastAPI, or Django and frontend development using React, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
- Proven experience building and deploying applications on Google Cloud Platform, including Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, GKE, BigQuery, Cloud Storage, and Pub/Sub.
- Production experience implementing AI/ML solutions using TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn, with awareness of MLOps practices.
- Understanding of microservices architecture, APIs, GraphQL, event-driven systems, and SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Knowledge of software design principles, design patterns, clean code, and cloud-native engineering practices.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Git workflows, testing frameworks, and engineering tooling.
- Experience working in Agile, Scrum, or Kanban teams, along with strong collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills.
