Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java-based applications and services.
- Build and enhance distributed systems and microservice-based solutions.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following engineering best practices.
- Develop automated tests and support CI/CD processes.
- Participate in code reviews and drive continuous improvement in software quality.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, product owners, and business stakeholders to deliver technical solutions.
- Contribute to architecture and design discussions and technical decision-making.
- Troubleshoot and resolve performance, scalability, reliability, and security issues.
- Support deployment automation and development workflow improvements.
- Monitor and resolve production issues using logs, metrics, and monitoring tools.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- At least 1 year of Java experience, including experience with the Spring Framework and Spring Boot.
- Solid understanding of software engineering principles, object-oriented programming, and design patterns.
- Experience with SQL and relational databases.
- Experience working with distributed systems and service-oriented architectures.
- Familiarity with automated testing frameworks and CI/CD practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Preferred experience with Kafka, Kubernetes/OpenShift, API development, application infrastructure, performance optimization, and secure software development practices.
