Base Salary
$180k - $250k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own and evolve services connecting vehicles and infrastructure to the cloud.
- Design and maintain asset-to-cloud APIs and communication clients.
- Build and operate ingestion pipelines for high-volume data streams.
- Design systems for deduplication and scalable storage of telemetry data.
- Ensure secure provisioning of hardware assets and certificate management.
- Expand telemetry to measure latency and uptime across systems.
- Build correlation systems linking vehicle software events to cloud signals.
- Develop monitoring tools and dashboards for device-to-cloud interactions.
- Improve correctness and auditability of distributed systems.
- Contribute across the stack from backend services to internal tooling.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience building and operating reliable distributed systems.
- Experience designing APIs and data models for high volume or real-time systems.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure such as AWS and Kubernetes.
- Experience building or operating streaming and messaging systems.
- Strong fundamentals in networking, security, and systems design.
- Track record of owning problems end to end from design to production.
- Clear communication skills and comfort working across teams.
