Base Salary

$138k - $185k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical guidance to business and technical teams, contractors, and vendors.
  • Develop, review, debug, and maintain secure, high-quality production code.
  • Clarify security requirements across multiple networks to support multi-level security.
  • Recommend business modifications during periods of vulnerability to stakeholders and senior business leaders.
  • Serve as a function-wide subject-matter expert and influence technical decisions involving leading-edge technologies.
  • Apply AI-assisted practices to security testing, control validation, risk analysis, and documentation while ensuring traceability, auditability, and sensitive-data protection.
  • Review and validate AI-assisted security recommendations before adoption and escalate uncertainty when necessary.

Requirements

  • Formal training or certification plus 3+ years of experience in cloud service development and integration.
  • Proficiency in OAuth, SAML, API security, and identity federation.
  • Experience building high-performance API-first services and integrating tooling.
  • Hands-on experience with enterprise security solution design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
  • Advanced proficiency in one or more of C#, C++, Go, Python, or Java.
  • In-depth knowledge of software development and a technical discipline such as cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, or mobile.
  • Extensive experience with threat modeling, discovery, vulnerability assessment, and penetration testing.
  • Deep knowledge of HTTP/HTTPS, SSL/TLS inspection, traffic interception, and API gateway patterns.
  • Experience using enterprise-authorized AI capabilities in security engineering workflows, with strong validation practices and awareness of data sensitivity.
  • Preferred: advanced knowledge of SSE, CASB, SIEM, API gateway development, and custom proxy or VPM development.
