Base Salary
$200k - $300k/yr
Responsibilities
- Architect and scale core systems that ingest and process social data from Instagram, TikTok, X, Reddit, and LinkedIn.
- Design data pipelines supporting AI agents and real-time customer analytics.
- Lead technical decisions, write design documents, and establish scalable architecture patterns.
- Improve reliability, performance, and cost efficiency across data and AI infrastructure.
- Mentor engineers and review system designs and code.
- Collaborate with product and engineering leadership to solve complex technical problems and deliver production systems.
Requirements
- Require 5+ years of experience building and operating production software systems.
- Require strong experience designing and scaling distributed systems, data infrastructure, or complex production platforms.
- Require demonstrated ability to architect systems and drive major technical decisions.
- Require experience mentoring engineers and influencing engineering direction.
- Seek candidates comfortable with high ownership and autonomy in a startup environment.
- Require strong product intuition and collaboration with product and design teams.
- Seek interest in AI-native engineering workflows and the transformation of software development.
- Prefer startup experience, large-scale data pipeline or real-time analytics experience, familiarity with AWS, Pulumi, Postgres, or ClickHouse, and experience integrating AI or machine learning systems into production platforms.
