Base Salary
$220k - $357k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain distributed data pipelines that ingest, process, and annotate real-world and synthetic audio.
- Build and optimize distributed training infrastructure for speech-language models in JAX and PyTorch, including supervised fine-tuning and reinforcement learning at scale.
- Develop automated evaluation, testing, and experimentation systems for model accuracy, audio quality, latency, and real-time performance.
- Integrate voice models into production applications and real-time services, define technical specifications for spoken interactions, and own deployment from prototype to global scale.
- Profile and optimize training and inference performance across throughput, latency, memory usage, and compute efficiency.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, computer engineering, electrical engineering, or another engineering discipline.
- Production-quality programming experience in Python, PyTorch, JAX, Rust, or C++.
- At least 2 years of experience working with large-scale voice-related products.
- Preferred experience with distributed training and inference systems on Kubernetes.
- Expert-level Python experience building clean, efficient, production-quality code for large-scale systems.
- Preferred experience optimizing model training and inference software in JAX or PyTorch.
- Preferred experience building automated testing, evaluation, and A/B experimentation pipelines for production systems.
- Preferred hands-on experience building distributed data processing systems with Spark and Ray.
