Base Salary
$180k - $400k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement systems supporting reinforcement learning workloads from small-scale ablations to production training runs.
- Profile, debug, and optimize end-to-end training performance.
- Improve the scalability and observability of the reinforcement learning stack.
Requirements
- Write production-quality code in Python, PyTorch, JAX, Rust, or C++.
- Have experience training large models, including pre-training, post-training, fine-tuning, or reinforcement learning of neural networks with 1B+ parameters.
- Preferred: experience building, debugging, and optimizing large-scale distributed systems.
- Preferred: experience with large-scale LLM training infrastructure.
- Preferred: experience with RL numerics and strong knowledge of reinforcement learning techniques.
- Be comfortable working in unfamiliar areas and solving problems across the technology stack.
