Base Salary
$180k - $600k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop post-training and reinforcement learning methods for large AI models.
- Work on reward modeling and preference optimization, including RLHF and DPO.
- Apply reinforcement learning to improve model reasoning, truthfulness, and real-world capabilities.
- Write production-quality model engineering code.
Requirements
- Experience writing production-quality code in Python, PyTorch, JAX, Rust, or C++.
- Experience training large neural network models with 1 billion or more parameters through pre-training, post-training, fine-tuning, or reinforcement learning.
- Experience with post-training, RLHF, or models used by millions of people is preferred but not required.
- Interest in truth-seeking AI, useful models, reinforcement learning, and alignment methods is preferred.
