Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and operate repeatable, version-controlled Azure infrastructure using Bicep.
- Architect and manage Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines across development, staging, and production environments.
- Implement blue/green and canary deployment strategies, environment promotion workflows, release gates, and deployment approvals.
- Manage Azure networking components, containerized workloads, observability solutions, governance controls, and security baselines.
- Drive disaster recovery, high availability, FinOps, cost monitoring, resource tagging, and Azure resource optimization.
- Serve as a liaison across engineering, IT, and business units to align infrastructure standards, shared services, and deployment practices.
- Evaluate and integrate AI-assisted operations tooling and Azure AI services to improve reliability and developer productivity.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least 7 years of hands-on cloud engineering experience, including at least 3 years focused on Microsoft Azure.
- Expert proficiency with Bicep and proven experience managing Azure DevOps Pipelines, including multi-stage pipelines, approvals, and artifact management.
- Experience implementing blue/green, canary, or feature-flag-based production deployments.
- Strong knowledge of Azure networking, security fundamentals, containerization, orchestration, PowerShell, and Azure CLI.
- Strong troubleshooting, collaboration, communication, and cross-functional alignment skills.
- Preferred qualifications include Azure AI or AI/ML infrastructure experience, agentic AI tooling, Terraform, GitOps, Azure API Management, drift detection and compliance tooling, FinOps, and relevant Azure certifications.
