Responsibilities
- Implement improvements that increase efficiency, software quality, and delivery speed.
- Support shared development and operations responsibilities using DevOps best practices.
- Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines, particularly with Jenkins.
- Manage containerized environments using Kubernetes and Helm.
- Develop automation scripts in Python and apply infrastructure-as-code practices with Terraform.
- Support AWS cloud environments and database architecture, integration, and schema change management.
- Use monitoring to maintain system reliability and performance.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical implementations.
- Facilitate business and technical knowledge sharing and influence stakeholders to support effective service delivery.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer.
- Strong knowledge of AWS and CI/CD pipeline creation and maintenance.
- Practical experience with Terraform, Kubernetes, and Helm.
- Experience with Python scripting and automation.
- Experience with multiple database ecosystems, architecture, and integration.
- Experience with monitoring tools for system reliability and performance.
- Experience with Kubernetes container orchestration and Helm package management.
- Experience with Jenkins pipelines and Liquibase schema change management.
- Understanding of GitOps principles and a focus on automation, proactive monitoring, continuous improvement, and best practices.
- Willingness to travel.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Ability to attain UK Security Clearance.
