Base Salary
$158k - $301k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own APIs and SDKs for AI asset creation experiences across design, delivery, and support.
- Design and maintain secure, reliable, observable backend services with failure and recovery handling using infrastructure as code.
- Develop partner integrations to improve game asset workflows.
- Establish patterns, guardrails, feedback loops, and architectural oversight for AI-assisted development.
- Improve CI, release, and incident management processes.
- Partner with product, design, and engineering teams to shape investment in features and platform health.
Requirements
- Extensive experience with C# and .NET building production web APIs.
- Ability to work across high-level architecture, implementation, and production support.
- Demonstrated technical leadership making architectural decisions beyond a single team and improving engineers’ technical judgment.
- Experience designing and evolving APIs and SDKs used by multiple teams or external developers, including versioning and compatibility validation.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with experience aligning stakeholders on complex solutions.
- Expertise with cloud offerings including databases, publish-subscribe systems, and observability stacks.
- Expertise debugging, profiling, and optimizing production applications as scale and interaction complexity grow.
- Preferred: experience with Azure or GCP, Unity or other 3D engines, game asset pipelines, generative AI, model evaluation, game development, or multi-tenant enterprise platforms.
