Responsibilities
- Define, research, and execute performance benchmarking frameworks across FlashArray products.
- Optimize throughput, latency, and platform efficiency for enterprise storage solutions.
- Partner with Product Management, Solutions, and Sales Engineering to validate customer scenarios and develop performance plans.
- Provide technical direction, architectural guidance, and mentorship to software engineering team members.
- Optimize performance across physical hardware platforms and cloud architectures, including CloudSnap and Cloud Block Store.
Requirements
- Deep technical foundation in systems-level programming languages such as C, C++, Python, Go, or Java.
- Proven experience architecting solutions involving operating systems, distributed systems, Linux kernel, database internals, hypervisors, containers, or compiler optimization.
- Experience leading software engineering teams in performance engineering and establishing benchmarking metrics for large-scale enterprise systems.
- Strong collaboration and system-design skills for solving complex architectural challenges with engineering and product teams.
- Ability to work primarily in the Bangalore, India office.
