Base Salary
$192k - $230k/yr
Responsibilities
- Deliver cloud architecture that solves business problems while balancing architecture and business margins.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and architect scalable cloud solutions.
- Design, deploy, and manage cloud-based architecture focusing on efficiency, scalability, availability, performance, and security.
- Evaluate and select appropriate cloud technologies, platforms, and tools to meet company needs.
- Optimize cloud-based systems for high availability, fault tolerance, and disaster recovery.
- Implement and manage monitoring, logging, and alerting systems for cloud infrastructure health.
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, security vulnerabilities, and operational issues.
- Stay up-to-date with trends, technologies, and best practices in cloud computing and cybersecurity.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Cloud Architect or similar role in a production environment.
- Extensive experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP at the API/programming level.
- Experience in programming languages such as Java or Python.
- Familiarity with REST API clients and tools like CloudFormation or Terraform.
- Strong expertise in Kubernetes and containerization technologies.
- Experience building highly scalable distributed systems.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
- Ability to work in an agile environment.
