Responsibilities
- Design and build core zero-instrumentation APM components using eBPF and Go
- Develop systems to auto-discover services, classify Layer 7 protocols, and extract RED metrics from plaintext and TLS traffic
- Solve protocol parsing, encryption handling, and kernel-level performance challenges
- Ensure compatibility across Linux kernel versions, distributions, and diverse customer environments
- Lead design and implementation efforts, contribute to roadmap planning, and drive technical direction
- Collaborate across teams to improve reliability and scale the system for production use
Requirements
- Significant experience in backend or systems-level development
- Strong proficiency in Go or similar languages
- Comfort working close to the Linux kernel
- Experience or strong interest in eBPF, networking, or observability tooling
- Understanding of scalable systems, reliability, performance, and compatibility in complex environments
- Familiarity with networking protocols, TLS internals, or distributed tracing is advantageous
