Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Oracle APEX applications.
- Write and optimize PL/SQL packages, procedures, and functions.
- Integrate REST and SOAP APIs using ORDS or similar tools.
- Support data validation, reconciliation, and financial and compliance reporting.
- Participate in testing, debugging, troubleshooting production issues, documentation, deployment, and user support.
- Follow application security, performance, and coding standards.
- Collaborate in Agile teams, sprint meetings, code reviews, and knowledge-sharing sessions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 1–4 years of experience developing applications with Oracle APEX and PL/SQL.
- Basic to intermediate Oracle APEX experience, including interactive reports, forms, and dynamic actions.
- Solid SQL and PL/SQL knowledge, including query writing and debugging.
- Familiarity with REST/SOAP APIs, JSON/XML data handling, and ORDS basics.
- Understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for APEX UI customizations.
- Awareness of version control systems and software delivery processes.
- Banking or financial systems experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Exposure to Oracle Forms/Reports modernization, data pipelines, ETL concepts, reporting tools, OCI, Azure, or containerized deployments is preferred.
