Responsibilities
- Package and continuously test GPU images across multiple platform services.
- Develop and maintain tooling and scripts for automating image creation and deployment.
- Ensure machine images adhere to security best practices and compliance standards.
- Optimize machine images for performance, size, and boot time.
- Integrate machine image creation into CI/CD pipelines.
- Maintain version control and document configurations and processes.
- Implement monitoring for image performance and troubleshoot deployment issues.
- Stay updated on advancements in cloud technologies and image management tools.
Requirements
- Strong experience with building Linux operating system images.
- Solid understanding of GPU infrastructure and testing frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with tools like Packer, cloud-init, Ansible, and Python.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools for automating image pipelines.
- Strong understanding of security practices in image building.
- Experience in regulated environments like HIPAA or SOC2.
- Knowledge of Immutable Infrastructure and Golden Image pipelines.
- Experience with configuration management tools like Chef or Puppet.
