Deloitte AdvisoryResponsibilities
- Design, build, and support scalable microservices and user interfaces for Disney’s Ad Platform.
- Collaborate with product, UX, and engineering partners to deliver advertising product features.
- Translate user stories into engineering tasks and own work from development through deployment.
- Mentor teammates through code reviews, documentation, and informal guidance without direct reports.
- Implement metrics, monitoring, alerting, and other observability improvements.
- Participate in on-call rotations and support operational excellence.
- Promote code quality, automated testing, and agile engineering workflows.
- Use automated AI tools in accordance with company policy.
Requirements
- Require 4-6 years of hands-on software engineering experience.
- Require proficiency with Java and related frameworks such as Spring Boot.
- Require experience with ReactJS or modern JavaScript frameworks such as Vue or Angular.
- Require strong experience with relational databases including MySQL or Postgres, including schema and query design.
- Require experience with RESTful APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
- Require a strong foundation in computer science, including data structures and algorithms.
- Require strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Prefer experience in ad tech, programmatic advertising, or real-time bidding platforms.
- Prefer experience with Spring Boot and related Spring projects, AWS, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, Apache Kafka, AWS Kinesis, or SNS/SQS.
- Prefer a BS or MS in Computer Science or Engineering, or equivalent experience.
