Senior Software Engineer- Infrastructure & Distributed Systems

Responsibilities
- Build components and frameworks for distributed filesystems that improve scale and efficiency.
- Develop high-quality, production-ready code for Salesforce’s cloud platform.
- Design efficient components and algorithms in a multi-tenant SaaS distributed filesystem environment.
- Design and develop distributed systems at scale using queues, locks, scheduling, event-driven architecture, and workload distribution.
- Perform code reviews, mentor junior engineers, and provide technical guidance to the team.
Requirements
- 6+ years of software development experience.
- Mastery of programming languages and platforms, including Java and Python.
- Strong SQL skills and experience with relational and non-relational databases such as PostgreSQL and Trino.
- Experience developing SaaS products over public cloud infrastructure, including AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Proven experience designing and developing distributed systems at scale.
- Deep understanding of software development best practices, distributed architectures, and relational and non-relational databases.
- Leadership skills and versatility using AI in the software development lifecycle.
- Preferred: experience with big data or ML, S3, Kafka, Elasticsearch, Terraform, Kubernetes, and Docker.
- Preferred: experience working in a fast-paced, rapidly growing multinational organization.
