Base Salary
$96k - $181k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deliver scalable full-stack solutions across web, API, and microservice architectures.
- Build modern user experiences with Angular and TypeScript and cloud-native services with Java and Spring Boot.
- Define API standards and integration patterns using OpenAPI/Swagger.
- Deploy and support applications on Google Cloud Platform and Kubernetes, including CI/CD pipelines and high-availability deployment strategies.
- Implement infrastructure automation, monitoring, observability, and proactive issue detection.
- Design resilient, performant, fault-tolerant systems using distributed technologies such as Redis and Kafka.
- Lead architecture discussions and technical design reviews while mentoring engineers through coaching, code reviews, and knowledge sharing.
- Establish engineering standards, reusable frameworks, and development best practices.
- Partner with security teams to address vulnerabilities, maintain compliance, and implement authentication and authorization patterns.
- Evaluate AI-assisted development tools and validate and secure AI-generated code.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 7+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- 3+ years in a senior engineer, technical lead, or architecture-focused role.
- Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot and the Spring ecosystem, REST APIs, microservices, Angular, and TypeScript.
- Experience building scalable enterprise-grade web applications and distributed systems.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, public cloud deployment and support, CI/CD pipelines, and Git.
- Experience designing scalable and resilient applications and leading technical discussions and architectural direction.
- Strong communication, mentoring, software design, testing, and code quality skills.
- Experience working in Agile product development environments.
- Experience using AI developer tools such as GitHub Copilot, Gemini, Cursor, Claude Code, or similar tools.
- Preferred experience includes GCP, Redis, Kafka, Spring Cloud, Kubernetes platform engineering, micro-frontends, financial services, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, Passkeys, FIDO2, Flutter, GitLab CI/CD, AI agents, agentic workflows, MCP integrations, LangGraph, or AutoGen.
