Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery or defined contract components while meeting operational, contractual, financial, quality, and efficiency commitments.
- Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using Scala and Java.
- Build scalable and resilient microservices architectures, RESTful APIs, and event-driven applications.
- Implement real-time data processing solutions using Kafka and Spark.
- Lead continuous improvement, risk management, delivery metrics analysis, and resource and timeline optimization.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align project goals with business objectives and customer expectations.
- Mentor and support team members and manage team decisions and performance.
- Identify opportunities for follow-on work through up-selling and cross-selling.
Requirements
- Minimum four years of experience in Java development.
- Minimum four years of experience in Databricks SQL.
- Associate degree or greater.
- Preferred advanced proficiency in Snowflake, Python, data modeling, and SQL.
- Ability to work onsite with the client three days per week in Pennington, New Jersey, and meet the client's five-days-away-per-quarter mandate.
