Responsibilities
- Analyze requirements and develop test strategies, schedules, estimates, and comprehensive test cases.
- Create, maintain, and execute manual test plans and scenarios, including functional, integration, database, regression, and exploratory testing.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and suites for API, web services, and UI testing.
- Validate application functionality, document results, assess risks, and manage defects through resolution.
- Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, reproduce defects, and verify fixes.
- Support testing across multiple environments and assist with or lead deployments to non-production environments.
- Coordinate integration and end-to-end testing with cross-functional and cross-system teams.
- Recommend improvements to testing processes, automation coverage, application testability, and software quality.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, estimation, code reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience designing, developing, executing, and maintaining automated test cases using tools such as Karate.
- Experience with manual API testing using tools such as Postman.
- Experience writing and executing SQL queries for validation and testing.
- Knowledge of source control methodologies and proficiency with tools such as Git or Bitbucket.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment using tools such as Jira, Zephyr, and Confluence.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, independence, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Ability to test multi-application suites with internal and external integration points.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future work-authorization sponsorship by the company.
- Must reside in St. Louis, Missouri, or the immediate surrounding area.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or a related field is preferred.
- Preferred hands-on experience with Selenium, Playwright, and BDD frameworks such as Cucumber.
