Base Salary
$155k - $215k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, maintain, and operate enterprise cryptographic infrastructure including PKI, HSMs, and certificate management platforms.
- Manage certificate issuance, renewal, revocation, and deployment across enterprise environments.
- Engineer key management solutions covering key generation, storage, rotation, and backup.
- Monitor cryptographic services in a 24/7 environment, including on-call support, incident response, and performance optimization.
- Automate certificate and key management processes using scripting and automation tools.
- Collaborate with application, infrastructure, security, and product teams to integrate cryptographic controls into enterprise and cloud systems.
- Evaluate and adopt Post-Quantum Cryptography capabilities, crypto-agility strategies, and transition plans.
- Provide technical leadership, architectural guidance, mentoring, and strategic impact.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 10+ years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity engineering or operations.
- Experience with PKI, HSMs, certificate management, cryptographic principles, protocols, and standards.
- Experience managing enterprise or cloud PKI environments and certificate lifecycle tools.
- Hands-on experience with HSM technologies and secure key management practices.
- Familiarity with Python, PowerShell, or similar scripting and automation tools.
- Knowledge of Post-Quantum Cryptography and crypto-agility concepts.
- Ability to lead security-function change, manage multiple initiatives, and make architectural decisions.
- Preferred certifications include CISSP, CISM, or vendor-specific PKI/HSM certifications.
