Base Salary
$175k - $220k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and evolve a serverless-first AWS platform using Lambda, Step Functions, EventBridge, AppSync, and Aurora.
- Own AWS multi-account architecture, including account hierarchy, Service Control Policies, and IAM Identity Center.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, developer-platform tooling, and compliant-by-default infrastructure guardrails.
- Implement monitoring and alerting, improve observability, and address security vulnerabilities and infrastructure risks.
- Improve engineering operations, build integrations between backend services and infrastructure, and establish scalable infrastructure standards.
- Provide architectural guidance and collaborate across teams to unblock technical challenges.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience with public cloud infrastructure.
- Deep AWS expertise, including serverless architectures and container orchestration with EKS.
- Strong Infrastructure as Code experience, particularly with Terraform.
- Hands-on experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with AWS Organizations, multi-account governance, and IAM Identity Center.
- Experience designing, deploying, and monitoring cloud infrastructure at scale.
- Proficiency in at least one backend programming language.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a relevant field, or equivalent industry experience.
- Preferred qualifications include TypeScript, AI/ML infrastructure or LLM-powered systems, CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Argo, or Semaphore, event-driven and service-oriented architectures, data-ingestion pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, and experience at early-stage software companies.
