Base Salary
$175k - $220k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, operate, and evolve Courier Health’s serverless-first AWS platform.
- Own AWS multi-account architecture, account hierarchy, Service Control Policies, and IAM Identity Center governance.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and developer-platform guardrails that enable compliant, reliable software delivery.
- Implement monitoring and alerting and proactively address security vulnerabilities and infrastructure risks.
- Improve engineering operations, select and deploy infrastructure tools, and build integrations between backend services and the infrastructure layer.
- Establish scalable infrastructure standards and collaborate across teams to resolve technical challenges.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience with public cloud infrastructure.
- Deep AWS expertise, including hands-on experience with serverless architectures such as Lambda, Step Functions, and EventBridge, plus container orchestration with EKS.
- Strong Infrastructure as Code experience, particularly with Terraform.
- Hands-on experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with AWS Organizations, multi-account governance, and IAM Identity Center.
- Experience designing, deploying, and monitoring cloud infrastructure at scale.
- Proficiency in at least one backend programming language.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a relevant field, or equivalent industry experience.
- TypeScript proficiency, AI/ML infrastructure or LLM-powered systems experience, CI/CD tooling experience with GitHub Actions, Argo, or Semaphore, event-driven or service-oriented architecture experience, data ingestion pipeline experience, Docker or Kubernetes experience, and early-stage company experience are preferred.
