Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Write and test software integrating sensors and embedded processors into aircraft, payloads, software-defined radios, and robotic systems.
- Design, implement, document, debug, and enhance software for prototypes and products.
- Support system requirements, test plans, diagnostic tools, validation testing, certification, and transition of development software to production.
- Assist with hardware selection and recommendations for processing, memory, and storage requirements.
- Develop rapid prototypes and proof-of-concept demonstrations while estimating development effort and scope.
- Participate in multidisciplinary teams, design reviews, and flight or field testing.
- Maintain software configuration control and follow the company’s software development process.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- 0–2 years of relevant experience and experience troubleshooting systems.
- Proficiency with Python, C, C++11, C++ STL, and/or OpenCL.
- Knowledge of Visual Studio, Eclipse, or a similar IDE and defect tracking tools.
- Experience with RS-485, RS-232, CAN, I2C, SPI, and USB protocols.
- Demonstrated mathematical and analytical skills.
- Preferred experience with STM32 processors, RTOS systems such as µC/OS and FreeRTOS, Video4Linux, Ubuntu Linux kernels, Linux/ARM drivers, and Robot Operating System.
- Basic electronics knowledge and laboratory equipment experience are preferred.
- Strong written, verbal, interpersonal, problem-solving, analytical, teamwork, initiative, and communication skills are required.
