Responsibilities
- Act as the primary security contact and promote security awareness, ownership, and secure-by-design practices across delivery teams.
- Embed security across the software delivery lifecycle through threat modeling, architecture reviews, secure coding practices, and security testing.
- Integrate SAST, DAST, and SCA into CI/CD pipelines.
- Lead vulnerability reviews and remediation activities and support penetration testing and security assessments.
- Respond to security incidents and fraud-related threats.
- Support audits, risk assessments, control reviews, security documentation, and security posture and KPI reporting.
- Deliver secure development training, workshops, and coaching while championing DevSecOps and related security frameworks.
Requirements
- Requires 3–5 years of experience in cybersecurity, security engineering, DevOps, software engineering, or IT risk management.
- Requires experience in vulnerability management, security controls, security monitoring frameworks, secure SDLC, and DevSecOps practices.
- Requires foundational knowledge of OWASP Top 10, threat modeling, IAM, authentication, authorization, encryption, key management, and network security principles.
- Requires strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Requires a bachelor's degree in computer science, cybersecurity, information security, IT, or engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- Preferred qualifications include banking or other regulated-environment experience, fraud prevention or sanctions experience, cloud security experience, penetration testing, audit, security assessments, and familiarity with Pega or Pega Cloud security.
- Microsoft Azure security certifications and certifications such as Security+, PenTest+, GISF, CISSP, CISM, CEH, CCSP, or GIAC credentials are advantageous.
