Base Salary
$165k - $220k/yr
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with engineers and technical leaders to ship interoperable products and systems.
- Lead the design and implementation of complex software systems for scalability and performance.
- Translate requirements into technical specifications and deliverables with product managers and designers.
- Design and support identity and access services for various applications.
- Implement best practices for software development, including code reviews and documentation.
- Mentor junior team members to foster their growth and success.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies to enhance the software development process.
- Ensure 24/7 on-call coverage for services owned by your team.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in software development with a focus on back-end technologies.
- Strong communication skills to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Go, Node.js, Python, or Java.
- Experience with relational and/or non-relational databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
- Familiarity with identity management systems such as Azure AD or AWS Cognito.
- Strong understanding of software architecture and design patterns.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a passion for elegant solutions.
