Responsibilities
- Build and ship native iOS features for onboarding, accounts, cards, payments, transfers, rewards, and AI-assisted user journeys.
- Design complex financial flows that feel clean, fast, and simple on mobile.
- Collaborate with product, design, backend, and AI engineers from concept through production release.
- Own app quality, including performance, crash rate, loading states, edge cases, responsiveness, and release stability.
- Use production feedback, analytics, and customer behavior to improve features after launch.
- Integrate APIs and authentication while handling financial data securely and reliably.
Requirements
- Strong native iOS experience using Swift.
- Experience shipping iOS apps used by real users.
- Understanding of SwiftUI, UIKit, async/await, and iOS architecture patterns.
- Strong product sense and attention to user experience.
- Ability to debug production issues and improve performance, reliability, and app quality.
- Comfort working with ambiguity and moving quickly without lowering quality.
- A track record of personally helping build, ship, or scale a serious product, platform, or system.
- Strong English communication skills.
- Ability to work from the Japan office at least 3 days per week.
