Responsibilities
- Design, build, and ship production-grade internal tools and applications.
- Own system architecture, implementation, CI/CD, deployment, monitoring, and maintenance.
- Lead engineering engagements involving data integration, platform migration, workflow automation, visualization, and cloud architecture consulting.
- Serve as the technical escalation point for complex platform and implementation issues.
- Set engineering standards through code review, testing, documentation, and reusable patterns.
- Mentor junior and mid-level engineers and guide non-technical stakeholders.
- Write technical documentation and deliver training globally.
- Scope requirements and translate ambiguous business problems into defined technical solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 4 years of professional experience building and shipping web-based software.
- Strong full-stack experience with JavaScript or TypeScript, React or an equivalent framework, HTML/CSS, and Node.js and/or Python.
- Experience designing and consuming REST APIs and integrating third-party services and SDKs.
- Knowledge of relational and non-relational databases, schema design, query optimization, and SQL.
- Hands-on experience with a major cloud platform, preferably GCP, including serverless services, containers, managed data services, IAM, and networking fundamentals.
- Experience with Docker and deploying containerized workloads using platforms such as Cloud Run, GKE, ECS, or Kubernetes.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version-control workflows.
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code, preferably Terraform.
- Experience with testing methodologies and writing maintainable, tested code.
- Preferred experience with Google Marketing Platform services, online advertising, data engineering and ETL/ELT, AI-assisted development tools, LLM or agentic workflows, browser automation, analytics and tag management, mobile development, Firebase, AppsFlyer, and A/B testing platforms.
